As a foodie, I loved do discover all the different food markets in Cape town. On Saturdays you should actually start your day at the packed Neighbourgoods Market that takes place in the vibrant and old Woodstock Woodmill. And while you're already in that part of the city it makes totally sense to take the time to check out the Woodstock Exchange, a local Design-hub where all the hipsters and design geeks are hanging out. If you prefere a little less hip and more local market the Friday Night Blue Bird Garage Food Market in Muizenberg is the place to be! This small market reminded me very much of Kreuzberg here in Berlin, and we had a great time trying all the different foods and the home brewed beer. Antoher market that is totally worth the drive is the Bay Harbour market in Hout Bay. It has an amazing atmosphere and is a bit less crowded than the Neighbourgoods market in Woodstock. If you love food, take your time to meet amazing people at the markets and to learn more about the diverse local food culture in Cape Town. I promise - you won't leave hungry.
